We sell and ship directly to customers worldwide through our webshop. If you are a bookshop interested in stocking our titles, please place your order through our sales and distribution channels.
Orders of individual books placed before 3 p.m. (Monday–Friday) are normally dispatched the same day; orders placed after this time or over the weekend are dispatched on the next business day. Tote bags and subscriptions are likely to take longer to arrive.
You will receive shipping confirmation once your order has been dispatched. Tracking information will be included where available, depending on the shipping method selected.
Pre-Orders
Payment for all orders is taken at the point of purchase. If your order includes a pre-ordered book, it will not be dispatched until all of the books within it are available. If you would like to receive in-stock titles as soon as they’re available, please place a separate order.

UK / Domestic Orders
All UK orders are sent using Royal Mail. We offer standard delivery (estimated within 2–3 days of dispatch) or tracked express delivery (next business day if ordered before 3 p.m. UK time Monday–Friday).
We offer free standard shipping on all orders over £35.
EU Orders
All EU orders are sent using FedEx tracked services. Delivery is estimated between 5–10 days of dispatch.
We collect applicable taxes at checkout, meaning that your order is pre-cleared for customs and you should not be charged additional import fees upon delivery.
Orders to the EU cannot exceed €150 (approx. £120) before VAT and delivery.
Other International Orders
All international orders are sent using FedEx tracked services. Delivery is estimated between 4–10 days of dispatch for the USA, Canada and Australia, and within 18 days of dispatch for all other international destinations.
Please note: international orders outside the EU may incur customs fees, import duties or taxes imposed by the destination country. These charges are the buyer’s responsibility and are not included in your order total.
We’re unable to ship to a number of countries, including remote or uninhabited territories (e.g., Antarctica, Pitcairn Islands, South Georgia & South Sandwich Islands, and similar locations), as well as: Belarus, Comoros, Equatorial Guinea, Guinea-Bissau, Haiti, Israel, Kiribati, Kosovo, Libya, Macedonia, Myanmar, Nauru, Palestine, Russia, São Tomé & Príncipe, Sierra Leone, Solomon Islands, Somalia, South Sudan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Tuvalu, UAE, Venezuela, Western Sahara and Yemen. Subscriptions
Subscriptions follow our publishing programme. Books are sent out to subscribers ahead of their publication dates. Subscribers in the UK should receive books in the week of publication, though international orders may take longer. Details of our publishing programme can be found in our latest catalogue.
Subscriptions do not automatically renew, though we will notify you when your subscription finishes.
Fiction and Essay Subscriptions
Fiction, Essay, and Fiction and Essay subscriptions cover a number of books rather than a defined period of time. Books will arrive as they are published. The deadline to ensure you receive a fiction or essay title as part of your subscription is two weeks prior to a book’s publication date.
Poetry Subscriptions
Poetry subscriptions cover a year of our poetry publishing. Subscribers will receive all poetry titles we publish throughout the year. If you subscribe later in the year, you will initially receive all poetry titles published up to that point in the year. Subsequent titles will follow in line with our publishing programme.
Please note that Classics titles are not currently included in subscriptions.
